Nargenis Ulloa (182-G-1997) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader San Sebastian and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 26-year old guard had the game-high 24 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for San Sebastian in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Cedar Park C. (#3, 0-4), the league's bottom-ranked team 70-67. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed San Sebastian to jump to the first place in the United Cup. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. San Sebastian has a very solid 3-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Ulloa just recently signed at San Sebastian, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ulloa has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 20.8ppg), rebounds (9th best: 5.8rpg) and assists (3rd best: 3.3apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Dominican Rep. power forward Teodoro Romero (203-F/C-1990) of second-ranked Georgia Panthers. Romero impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Georgia P. to edge Crocs (1-3) by 3 points 66-63. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Romero is one of the most experienced players at Georgia P. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Keenan Gaskin (201-F/C-1990) of Clermont Crocs (#3). Gaskin scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Gaskin's great performance the Crocs lost 63-66 to #2 ranked Georgia P.. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Crocs can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Gaskin has individually a great season in United Cup. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.0rpg (2nd best).
